About Me
I am a recent graduate of Kent State’s School of Library and Information Science. As one of 18 recipients of the “New Vision of Learning” scholarship from the Laura Bush 21st Century Librarian program and IMLS, I have focused on library services for children and young adults, with an emphasis on informal learning opportunities through museums on the Web. I have worked in an elementary school library for 7 years and have picked books for my own children for 12 years!
Reviews here are not limited to books. Other materials and resources, including those found on the Web, will be reviewed.
By the way, the first blast of reviews are from a project for a graduate school class and are saved here to use in my new profession! Like any good information specialist, I’m sharing! Want to learn more? Check out my other blogs about young adult materials and museum resources on the Web.

How can I send a book to you for review?

Hi Deb,
As I’m transitioning into a new job, I will not be accepting books to review from new sources for some time. Thanks for your interest!
